The International Conference on Hydrocarbon Science and Technology (ICHST) is a biennial conference organized by the Petroleum Training Institute Nigeria. This year’s conference has the theme: “The Future of the Oil and Gas Industry: Opportunities, Challenges, and Development.” This conference will pay particular attention to the sector’s present situation, challenges, opportunities, and emerging trends. It will cover how partnerships and collaboration may spur innovation and expansion in the energy sector, as well as the most recent trends, technologies, and legislation influencing the future of energy. The focus will be on how the energy sector may transition to a more sustainable energy mix while balancing economic, environmental, and social concerns in the context of the fast-evolving energy landscape. Additionally, it will consider managing risks and uncertainties, encouraging innovation and diversification, and creating a trained and adaptable workforce.
